How it works
From satellite to centimeter, in real time
A look at the correction flow that powers Mada Technology Solutions's national network.
GNSS satellites
Signals broadcast from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo and BeiDou constellations.
CORS base stations
Permanent reference receivers measure the local error in those signals.
NTRIP caster
Errors are converted to corrections and streamed over the internet via NTRIP.
Your rover
Any compatible receiver applies the corrections to achieve a centimeter-grade fix.
Glossary
The acronyms, decoded
GNSS

RTK
Real-Time Kinematic — a technique that uses correction data to remove most positioning errors instantly.
CORS
Continuously Operating Reference Station network — the infrastructure that generates corrections.
NTRIP
Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol — the standard for streaming corrections to rovers.
